Racers from seven different countries and 35 different U.S. states competed
at Americaís premier downhill event, the US open in Vernon, NJ. Racing in the
Amateur category, a 358 racer deep field, was BSG's own Derek Abraham riding
for team Giant / Adrenalineracer / ToWheels. After just making the cut at qualification
with a time of 3:30 and placing 96th. Derek laid down a stellar race run, beating
his qualifying time by 9sec. with a final time of 3:21 and placing 55th out
of the 100 riders that qualified. Congratulations Derek!
