For Immediate Release
Toronto - The BrainStorm Group of Toronto, will be the first Canadian agency to open an office
in Dubai to service clients in the Gulf and those North American companies clamoring to get into
the market.
Ron Telpner, Chairman and CEO of The BrainStorm Group, said the opportunity to open in Dubai,
arose when an established Dubai agency sought out a North American partner to bring the western
culture closer to their market.
“We were one of many agencies in Canada and the U.S., that were interviewed by the UAE agency
principals and their search consultants. We had a chemistry from the beginning and our meetings over
there clearly demonstrated the opportunity to attract both talented agency people and receptive clients,”
Mr. Telpner said.
In Dubai, the name of the existing agency, now called E Media, will change to The BrainStorm Group.
"We will replicate the BrainStorm culture that is key to our success here, right down to the design of
the office with furniture, quirky Western artifacts and of course, lots of lightning bolts," he said.
Vinod Nayar, principal of E media said he was delighted with the new arrangement. “As The BrainStorm
Group in Dubai, we will add value to the great team we have already assembled. We’ll have access to
proven North American management and creative. Our goal is to help current clients take advantage of
the growth of Dubai and introduce companies who want help navigating new territory,” he said.
Mr. Nayar will be President of the Dubai agency, while Mr. Telpner will serve as Chairman and Chief
Mentor. Bob Froese, President of The BrainStorm Group Toronto, will serve on the Board and provide
business and strategic guidance.
